Outcomes of the activities of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk" for the first half of 2021.

On the 17th of July 2021, a meeting on the outcomes of the activities of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk", was held in the head office of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" for the first half of 2021, which was attended by the Chairman of the Board of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" Ikromi S.S., Deputies Chairman Rizvonzoda F.Z. and Saifzoda Sh.Dzh. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Head of the Finance Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, member of the Board Khudoyorzoda Khudoyor, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad, Director of the Banking Supervision Department of the NBT Sharipov Firuz, Head of Department of finance and accountancy of the Agency for Social Insurance and Pensions under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Akhmedov Ittifok, as well as heads of structural divisions of the Central Office of the Bank and branch managers.

At the start of the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Board Rizvonzoda F.Z. presented a report on the results of the activities of Amonatbonk for the first half of 2021.

It was noted that in the first half of this year, the Bank made all efforts to effectively fulfill the instructions of the Leader of the Nation during the oath-taking ceremony and annual addresses, the final meeting of the Government at the end of 2020, as well as priorities in the sector for 2021.

As a result, the Bank's net profit for the reporting period is 33.3 million somoni, which is 39.2% more than for the same period in 2020, and the upcoming plan is fully implemented.

The bank's capital in the first half of 2021 is 491.2 million somoni, which is 10.5% more than in the analogous period in 2020.

The Bank's assets amounted to 4.7 billion somoni, liabilities - 4.2 billion somoni, which is 10.5% more in compare with the same period in 2020.

In total, in the first half of 2021, the Bank spent 62.4 million somoni on transferring taxes and mandatory payments to the republican and local budgets, which is 40.8% more than in the analogous period in 2020.

As of June 30, 2021, the Bank has given out loans for 661.9 million somoni to more than 36,000 customers from internal and external reserves, which compared to the same period last year, the number of borrowers increased by 36.7%, and the volume of credit increased by 23%.

In order to eliminate the shortcomings in the volume of lending to the national economy, the Bank, as part of the implementation of the fourth strategic goal - rapid industrialization of the country and ensuring food security in the reporting period, provided more than 50% of loans to the industrial sector of the country and agriculture

At the same time, taking into account the high customers demand, the Bank additionally launched concessional lending under the name "Kishovarz" for the period from February 1 to June 30, 2021, which was successfully launched in 2020.

High liquidity is one of the main indicators of stability and reliability. The implementation of this indicator in Amonatbonk is at a high level, as a result the number of depositors in the Bank amounted more than 1.8 million.

The number of holders of bank payment cards reached 1 million 571 thousand which is 4.4% more than in the analogous period last year.

The number of purchased ATMs from the Bank was 284 units and 1739 units of Pos-terminals. In particular, today 582 Pos-terminals have been installed in trade and service points.

At the same time, in order to develop non-cash payments within the country, taking into account the requirements of the banking services market, a mobile apps of the Bank ("Amonat-Mobile") was implemented, which allows to pay for utilities, mobile payments, transfer money from one card to another and perform various banking operations.

Moreover, in order to develop non-cash payments, Amonatbonk connected 15 credit organizations to its billing system. These credit institutions were able to provide their clients with services for payment for electricity, water and heat through the internal system of bank cards, e-wallets and mobile banking.

Today in Amonatbonk having an activity 1,264 female employees, which is 43% of the total number of qualified employees. The bank is making every effort to increase the number of employees in the banking sector.

After the report of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" Rizvonzoda FZ, Deputy Head of the Finance Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, member of the Board Khudoyorzoda Khudoyor and Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad expressed their views on the Bank's activities in the first half of 2021. It was noted that the activities of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" are daily improving, including the provision of credits with affordable interes rate.

In the second part of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk", Ikromi S.S. also spoke about the economic indicators of the Bank's branches and gave specific instructions to the heads of the branches regarding the timely fulfillment of their professional duties.

 

Director of the Department of security and work with problem credits Sattorov I. reported on the implementation of the annual action plan of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" to repay problem loans and resale property. Also, the Head of the branch №16 of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" in the Faizabad district Miralizoda shared with experience of his work and ways to improve the level and quality of service in banking centers.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman of the Board awarded certificates of honor to Branch №16 in Fayzobod District, Branch №25 in Rogun District and a branch№ 25 in Ayni District for achieving positive economic results and exemplary functioning of banking services in the first half of 2021.
