Participation of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" in the meeting of the Council of the SCO Interbank Association
On August 23-24 this year the XVIII meeting of the Council of the SCO Interbank Association (hereinafter -SCO IBA) was held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, chaired by the "National Bank for Foreign Economic Activities of the Republic of Uzbekistan" JSC.
The Chairman of the Board of SSB RT «Amonatbonk» Mr. Ikromi Sirodjiddin Salom, who participated and spoke during the SCO IBA Council meeting, headed the official delegation of SSB RT «Amonatbonk».
The development institutions of the SCO member states - the People's Republic of China, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the SCO observer states - the Mongolian People's Republic, the Republic of Belarus, as well as the international financial institution - the Eurasian Development Bank - also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting under the chairmanship of the NBU 2 strategically important documents were developed:
1. JOINT ACTION PLAN of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Interbank Consortium Member Banks on supporting and developing intra-regional economic cooperation of the SCO for the medium term (2022-2027).
2. Framework Principles of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Interbank Consortium Member Banks’ interaction and cooperation in the financial areas.
The above-mentioned documents will improve the activities of the SCO Interbank Association by providing favorable conditions for stimulating the growth of trade turnover and investment cooperation between member banks while implementing promising joint infrastructure projects in the SCO region, as well as developing industrial cooperation among the SCO member states.
