The meeting on the results of the activity of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" or the nine months of 2022.

On October 18 in the headquarters of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk" took place the meeting on the results of the activity of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk" for the nine months of 2022, where took part the Chairman of the Board of the State Savings Bank "Amonatbonk" Ikromi S.S., Deputies Chairman of the Board Rizvonzoda F.Z. and Saifzoda Sh. Deputy Head of the Department of Finance of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic. Tajikistan Khudoyorzoda Khudoyor, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, member of the Board of Amonatbank, Safarzoda Rukmina Safar, Deputy Director of the Social Insurance and Pension Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, member of the Board of Amonatbank Naimi Alamkhon Kodir, Head of Banking Supervision Department of the National Bank of Tajikistan Mirzoev Umed Nozimovich, Head of the Department for Social Insurance and Pension Policy of the Social Insurance and Pension Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In the first part of the meeting the Deputy Chairman of the Board Saifzoda Sh. made a report on the results of the activity of SBS RT "Amonatbonk" for nine months of 2022.

It was noted that for the 9 months of the current year, the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk" made every effort for the timely and effective implementation of the instructions of the Leader of the Nation during his annual address, as well as priorities for 2022, the net profit of the Bank was 72.3 million somoni, which is 27.9% more than during the same period in 2021.

Aomnatbank, in order to achieve and make significant contribution to the banking system in the next 5 years, providing affordable and long-term loans, as well as taking into account the announcement of 2022-2026 as the "Years of Industry Development" and the importance of the industry in the further development of the country, the annual increase in the share of loans, taking practical measures to promote the creation of new permanent jobs.

As of September 30, 2022 the Bank provided loans to the amount of 1.2 billion somoni to more than 38000 clients from internal and external reserves, which increased by 14.4% as compared to the same period of last year.

The bank also pays special attention to provision of consumer loans which promotes the highest goal of the country - to ensure dignified life for each citizen of the country and also within support to farmers, it launched preferential loans called "Kishovarz-2022".

At the same time, in order to promote stable implementation of state programs aimed at social support of citizens, the Bank launched concessional loans under the name "Donish-2022" 20% per annum. This initiative was launched for payment of tuition fees and was valid from August 1 until September 30, 2022.

It is worth noting that in order to support the low-income population in the construction and expansion of housing, as well as the ability to purchase housing, Amonatbank introduced "Mortgage credit".

It should be noted that Amonatbank has expanded its activities in the direction of attracting as much investment in the country's economy and stimulating business activity. More than 87,7 million US dollars were attracted for implementation of 136 investment projects on development of different branches of the economy in 51 cities and districts of the country.

High liquidity is one of the main indicators of stability and reliability. The realization of this indicator in Amonatbonk is at high level, as a result of which, the number of depositors in the Bank amounted to more than 1.7 million. As a result, the balance of deposits of legal entities and individuals in Amonatbank as of September 30, 2022 amounts to 3.7 billion somoni, which is 19% more than during the same period last year. According to this indicator the Bank occupies one of the most significant places in the banking system of the country.

It should be noted that for timely and effective execution of the instructions of the Leader of the Nation during his annual address the Bank takes measures on full-scale implementation of non-cash transactions and has established cooperation with 8 018 budget and off-budget institutions and organizations through bank payment cards, which is 130 units more as compared to the same period of last year.

The number of bank payment card holders reached 1,552,000, the number of ATMs - 352 and 2,210 post-terminals.

After the report of the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of SSB RT "Amonatbonk" on the results of 9 months of 2022, members of the Management Board of the Bank expressed their views on the activities of the Bank for 9 months of 2022. It was noted that the activity of SSS RT "Amonatbonk" is improving day by day, including the provision of loans at affordable interest rates, attracting deposits and increasing the Bank's capital.

It was also noted that in order to further improve the level and quality of services and public confidence in the Bank the activities of each employee of the Bank should be significantly organized.

In the second part of the meeting, the heads of the Bank's structural units reported to the Chairman of the Board on the results of their activities for nine months of 2022.

Ikromi S.S., Chairman of the SSB RT"Amonatbonk", noted that Amonatbank, as a state bank, implements the social policy of the state and contributes to the provision of banking services to the population of the country. That is why each employee of the bank is required to conscientiously perform his/her activity and directly contribute to the development of the country's economy.

The issues of wide implementation of new services using modern digital technologies and strengthening the Bank's position as a state bank in the interbank market of the country, taking measures to improve financial literacy and economic activity of the population, strengthening activities to improve the professionalism of the Bank employees on the use of digital technologies, increasing the share of lending especially to small and medium enterprises, crafts, production and processing of agricultural products were also touched upon.
