Seminar "Setting up statistical works"

On June 2, 2021 in the head office of SSB "Amonatbonk" the specialists of the National Bank of Tajikistan conducted a seminar on the theme "Setting up statistical works". The seminar was opened by the Chairman of the Board Ikromi S.S. and Deputy Chairman Sayfzoda Sh.J. with the participation of Amonatbonk’s employees.

B.A. Bahriddinov, the head of the Statistical and Balance of Payments Department of the National Bank of Tajikistan spoke about the importance and role of "Building statistical works" in the banking sphere, and also noted the important role of statistics for the development and progress of the banking sector, forecasting bank risks and determining the market position of banks.

Topics like balance of payments, methods and benefits of money transfer, ways of development of international banking operations, especially communal payments via mobile apps, attraction of deposits and granting loans by domestic banks were discussed during the seminar.

It was stressed that financial literacy of employees is the basis for development and progress of any bank. Every specialist in the banking business should strive to keep up with the times in order to develop and improve his knowledge.

Another important issue of the seminar was the development of remote operations through mobile applications. Remote operations are safer and more profitable to save time of the client and the bank employee as well as to eliminate corrupt operations and not to depreciate national currency.

At the end of the seminar, the participants expressed their opinions on topical issues of the industry and exchanged their views.
